YS Jagan’s uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy dies mysteriously

YSR Congress leader and former AP Minister YS Vivekananda Reddy passed away on Friday after he suffered a cardiac arrest.

YS Vivekananda Reddy aged 68 years suffered cardiac arrest at his residence in Pulivendula town of Kadapa district on the early morning hours of Friday.

YS Vivekananda Reddy was the younger brother of late AP CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy and uncle of YSR Congress Party President YS Jaganmohan Reddy. He is survived by his wife and a daughter.

He was elected as an MLA from Pulivendula constituency in 1989 and 1994 and became a Member of Parliament from Kadapa Lok Sabha seat in 1999 and 2004. He was elected as MLC in 2009.

He also served as Agriculture Minister of Andhra Pradesh and later resigned from the Congress Party and joined YSRCP.

Recent reports revealed that he died under mysterious circumstances as few wounds are noticed on his fore head and on his head. Few blood marks were also noticed.

A SIT has been formed to investigate the cause of death of YS Vivekananda Reddy. His house has been checked using dog squad and surroundings are being studied. He was alone at his home when he passed away.
