Xiaomi revealed the launch date of Mi Band 4, its upcoming fitness tracker in China as June 11 and the device is expected to come with a colour display, NFC support and a sensor for detecting blood pressure.
Mi Band 4 features a colour display which is the major upgrade of previous Mi Band 3 with monochrome OLED display. Mi Band 4 comes with the same pill shaped design and with same circular home button at the bottom of the display.
Mi Band 4 is expected to be equipped with a photoplethysmography sensor which detects blood pressure. It is said to support Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and NFC for wireless payments.
The batter capacity is increased from 110mAh to 135mAh as per the rumours. Mi Band 4 can be charged directly and users need not remove the band module where as in Mi Band 3, users have to remove the device and then place it on the charger.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will be launched in two variants – The high end variant of Mi Band 4 with NFC support priced at $72 and the standard version price ranges between $28 – $43.
