Uttar Pradesh crime news: Robbers kill man, gangraped women in Yamuna Expressway

A family of eight persons – four men and four women were attacked by robbers for looting money on Yamuna expressway in Greater Noida of Uttar Pradesh.

A shocking incident took place on Wednesday night on Jewar-Bulandshahr highway, when the robbers killed a man when they gangraped the four women as he was objecting them for molesting the women.

A gang of six robbers took the family into hostage and allegedly gang raped four women.

The family was travelling to meet their relative who was ill and their vehicle was stopped by the criminals. They spread nails on the road and they attacked the persons travelling in the car and looted them of cash and valuables at gunpoint.

They took away cash worth Rs 44,000 and also jewellery. The deceased is identified as Shakeel Qraishi aged 25 years old.



The incident took place at around 2 am near Sabota village in Jewar. The family lodged a complaint against the accused persons.

Police began searching for them to nab the criminals. The women were sent for medical examination. The post-mortem is being conducted for the deceased person.
