Royal Vashishta tourist boat which was drowned a month ago has been recovered from the Godavari river by the Dharmadi and his team yesterday.
The family members of the deceased persons were waiting for the last glimpse of their loved ones who were eagerly waiting and they got some relief after the boat extraction.
Eight bodies were found in the boat but were in decomposed state and became difficult to identify. The process of identification is going on at Rajahmundry Government Hospital and family members are trying to identify the bodies.
Five of the eight bodies were identified based on the clothes they have worn and the identity cards found in the pocket by their family members. Three more bodies were yet to be traced.
Driver Nukaraju’s body was identified by his son which was recovered yesterday based on the T-shirt. He cried over the body and said that he did not expect to see his father in this state.
