The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad has introduced new self bag drop facility on Republic Day this year to bring in more automation.
SGK Kishore, CEO, GMR and officials of Indigo airlines launched live trials of the SBD at the domestic departures terminal.
The self bag drop facility is being launched for the Indigo travellers at present and will be extended to the other travellers of other domestic airlines.
SGK Kishore after launching the services explained about the facility: “Passengers can print their boarding cards and baggage tags from any self-check-in cabins and proceed to drop their bags at the facility,”.
