Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has started shooting for his upcoming film Narendra Modi which is a biopic based on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The first look poster of Vivek Oberoi as PM Narendra Modi was released earlier in this month. Narendra Modi is a biopic in which Vivek Oberoi will be playing the titular role.
Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his twitter to share this news and he posted: “Narendra Modi biopic filming begins in #Ahmedabad today… Will be shot at various locations in #Gujarat… #PMNarendraModi stars Vivek Anand Oberoi… Costars Boman Irani and Darshan Kumaar… Directed by Omung Kumar B… Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh”.
The film’s shooting began on Monday in Ahmedabad and will be shot at many locations across Gujarat, Delhi and Uttarakhand for a period of months. The film will showcase the journey of Narendra Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as Chief Minister and finally his landmark election as the Prime Minister.
The first look poster was launched at an event in Mumbai by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Initially Paresh Rawal was portraying the role of Modi but he opted out of the film due to some undisclosed reasons.
The film also features Boman Irani and Darshan Kumaar in other important roles. Omung Kumar is the director for Narendra Modi film and is produced by Sandip Ssingh.
