Nellore software engineer working in Chennai IT firm goes missing

A software engineer hailing from Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh went missing for the last four days after he left his rented home in Neelankarai.

The missing person identified as Kancharla Venkata Sai Teja aged 23 years was working in an IT company MindTree in Chennai. He was living with his friends at a rented house in Neelankarai.

Police are searching for this person and could not trace him till now. Venkat Sai Teja left on his motorbike on Saturday evening and did not return home. His friends searched for him in the neighborhood and the places he visit frequently and as they could not find him, they filed a missing complaint with the police.

Venkat Sai’s parents residing in Nellore were also informed about this and they reached Chennai on Monday.

Venkat Sai’s relative said that they were many versions that the slippers were found near the beach and Police have told them that they alerted the police stations along the coast. But they could not get information till now and he has been missing for more than three days.

Police are questioning his parents and friends to know if the man had any personal issues to get any clues on his missing.

Venkat Sai Teja had done his graduation in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from a private university in Kattankulathur in 2015 and is living in the city for about six years. Police also questioned his college friends if they were aware of his whereabouts.
