Finally, we have some progress in the Telugu NRI Narra Sasikala murder case with news of the FBI getting involved in the investigation.
There is no doubt that the local police in Maple Shade in Burlington, New Jersey have failed to crack the mysterious murder case of Sasikala Narra and her 7-year-old son Anish Sai.
So far, the murderer, whosoever it has been, is still roaming around freely. The murders though brutal seem to have been well planned otherwise the perpetrator by now would have been behind the bars.
Initially, Narra Hanumantha Rao, the husband of Narra Sasikala was thought of being the murderer going by the version of his in-laws back in Andhra Pradesh state in India. However, Narra Hanumantha Rao proved himself to have a strong alibi of attending an office party at the time of Narra Sasikala murder incident.
The parents of the 38-year-old Sasikala Narra claimed that their son-in-law was harassing their daughter after she came to know about his illicit affair with a female colleague at Cognizant. Further, they alleged that Narra Hanumantha Rao had taken a hefty dowry of Rs 1 crore.
Narra Hanumantha Rao 911 Call After Seeing the Dead Bodies
In fact, Narra Sasikala had herself revealed about her husband’s extra-marital affair and his harassments in a tell-all email to her brother, expressing her anguish about their relationship.
However, going by evidences or the lack of them, the husband of Narra Sasikala was not charged by the police who released him after questioning for several hours last month.
Besides, Narra Hanumantha Rao was not restricted from leaving the US to attend the funerals of his wife Sasikala Narra and son, Anish Sai.
It was another matter that he did not choose to attend the funeral in his native town where the last rites were carried out by his father.
Narra Sasikala’s parents who were quite vocal soon after the murder news broke out, have gone into their shell, and haven’t talked much about the tragedy. The last news about them was when Narra Sasikala dead body along with her son’s were taken enroute Vijayawada before the funeral.
Now that the FBI has moved in, let’s hope that the Narra Sasikala murder case is solved once for all and the real perpetrator is given punishment.
