Massive fire engulfs a residential building in London; 6 killed several injured

A massive fire broke out in Grenfell Tower, a 27-storey residential building in London in the early hours of Wednesday.

Six residents were killed and several others were injured in this London fire accident. Many could hear the screaming of the trapped people from the apartment.

Police officials have started evacuating the people from the Apartment and many are being treated for burns and injuries.

As many as 30 people were injured in the fire accident in London and were rushed to various hospitals for treatment.

40 fire engines and 200 fire fighters were called to control the fire.

The Grenfell Tower in London consists of 120 flats. Fire was seen from the 2nd to the top floor of this 27 Storey building.

The apartment block was built in 1974. Police said that they got report of large fire at a block of flats in the Lancaster West Estate at around 1:16 am British time.

The firefighters wore a breathing apparatus are worked extremely hard to control the fire. Everything got damaged in this incident and the building turned to ashes.

The apartment had only one entry and exit during improvement works. The residents of this apartment were trapped in fire as they have no way to exit.
