Kirpal Singh & Suresh Kumar win gold medals in South Asian Games for India

Two ONGC sportspersons Kirpal Singh and Suresh Kumar have won two gold medals in the South Asian Games for India.

The South Asian Games are taking place in Nepal – Kathmandu. Kirpal Singh won gold medal by creating history in Discus Throw with a new SAF Meet record.

He is an officer at ONGC and is a national champion of India in Discus Throw.

Suresh Kumar won gold in the 10,000 meters men’s category. He became the national champion as he won the national Open Athletics Championships in Ranchi. He is working as an officer at ONGC.

Suresh Kumar and Kirpal Singh won gold medals for India in SAF Games in 10,000 metre men’s category and Discus Throw.

These players are ONGC sportspersons and ONGC promotes sports extensively with more than 150 sportspersons of national and international reputation.

ONGC also organized the 3rd Para Games in Ahmedabad between Dec 03-05 in which 220 Para Athletes from all oil sector public undertakings participated.
