Kannada actor-cricketer Dhruv Sharma aged 35 dies of cardiac arrest

Kannada actor and cricketer Dhruv Sharma aged 35 years died of cardiac arrest and multiple organ failures on the wee hours of Tuesday.

As per the reports, Dhruv Sharma attempted suicide a few days back and was admitted in the hospital. On Tuesday he was declared dead as he suffered cardiac arrest and multiple organs failure.

Sandalwood actor Dhruv Sharma made his debut in the film industry with ‘Snehanjali’, a film which got a chance to enter in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the only film with a deaf-and-dumb actor playing the lead role.

Dhruv Sharma is congenitally impaired of speech and hearing abilities and played the lead role in the film as a normal person with perfection with lip syncing dialogues and songs.

Dhruv Sharma is survived by his parents, wife and two children.

He also worked as a captain for Indian dead-and-dumb cricket team which won the world cup. Dhruv was also popular for his all-round cricketing performance when he played for Karnataka Bulldozers team under his close friend Kiccha Sudeep’s captaincy in Celebrity Cricket League.

Dhruv Sharma’s father, Dr. Sharma is also a popular actor and was seen in many supporting roles in Kannada serials and films. Dhruv was seen in several other movies like Lootie, Tippaji Circle etc.

Many bollywood actors like Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh expressed their grief in twitter over Dhruv’s sudden death news as they also took part in Celebrity Cricket League matches.
