US cannabis cultivator iAnthus Capital will be officially inaugurating its first Northeast Be. cannabis retail store on Staten Island, New York City on 26 March.
The company, which owns, operates, and partners with licensed cannabis operations across the US, said that the new retail store of 3,850 square foot space, is located at 338 New Dorp Lane.
Hadley Ford – CEO of iAnthus, commenting on the opening of the Northeast Be. cannabis retail store on Staten Island, said: “We are thrilled to debut our new Be. retail brand for the patients of Staten Island, who have long been underserved by the legal cannabis market.
“Bringing safe, tested, quality cannabis and excellent customer service to the medical cannabis patients in New York is our top priority and we look forward to serving the great people of Staten Island with Be. our new, exciting retail concept.”
Currently, the cannabis cultivator operates a couple of medical dispensaries under the brand name Citiva in New York state, located in Brooklyn and Wappingers Falls.
iAnthus will be rebranding the Wappingers Falls location as Be. shortly after the opening of the Northeast Be. cannabis retail store on Staten Island.
Additionally, the flagship Be. Cannabis store is expected to open next month in Brooklyn across from the Barclays Center, while a fourth New York store will be opened in Ithaca.
The cannabis cultivator plans to rebrand its existing store base across its operating footprint throughout the rest of the year.
