The first ever Hyatt Place Hotel in Canada has opened its doors in Alberta province.
Located in downtown Edmonton, the 11-storied Hyatt Place Edmonton/Downtown consists of 255 rooms and features free Wi-Fi and round-the-clock food offerings for its guests.
The rooms have separate spaces to sleep, work and play. Besides, they also have a cozy sofa-sleeper.
Owned by Prem Singhmar of AUM Hotel Group, the Edmonton Hyatt Place Hotel offers hot breakfast in the Gallery Kitchen for guests daily free-of-cost which it has dubbed as a.m. Kitchen Skillet. It serves guests with breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, fresh-baked pastries and others.

To serve its guests with freshly prepared meals at any point of the day or night, the Edmonton Hyatt Place Hotel has the 24/7 Gallery Menu & Market which also has packaged sandwiches and salads.
For guests looking for specialty coffees, premium beers, wines or cocktails, the hotel has the Coffee to Cocktails Bar to cater to the needs.
For forgotten items, guests can buy, borrow or enjoy for free through the Odds & Ends program.

Hyatt Place is owned by the Chicago-based Hyatt Hotels which recorded a 148% increase in net income in the third quarter of 2016 to $62 million in comparison to the $25 million it earned in the same period last year.
