Fire break out at Mumbai shop leaves 12 dead and many trapped

A major fire broke out at a snacks shop on Khairani road in Mumbai on the wee hours on Monday that killed twelve people leaving many feared trapped.

The injured people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and many people were feared trapped inside the shop. The fire accident took place in Bhanu Farsan snack shop in Saki Naka and was reported to took place at around 4:17 am as the fore tenders received a call at that time.

They got a call that fire erupted in a snacks shop near Laxmi Narayan temple. All the injured were taken to Rajawadi hospital and are undergoing treatment. Four fire tankers and fire engines were rushed to the fire accident spot to douse the flames.

The fire engulfed the electric installations, eatables stock and furniture on the ground floor. The shop got partially collapsed due to fire accident.
