According to a tweet by Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Dangal box office collections day 30 has crossed the Rs 375 crore mark in India and has crosses $ 29 million mark internationally. He informed that the Dangal box office collections had grossed $ 12 million in the USA-Canada region alone.

Following the grand success of the film, Dangal has been declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh. The state also announced that in the wake of the movie’s success, it will set up an academy to promote wrestling.

MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made these announcements after himself watching Dangal with his wife Sadhna on Friday night. Confirming the developments, Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted that the MP Government has decided to give tax-free status to Aamir Khan’s movie. In another tweet, he said, “To promote wrestling an academy will be set up in Madhya Pradesh.”

It may be recalled that ‘Dangal’ is the fourth movie to be declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh in recent times — Jai Gangaajal, Neerja and Mardaani being the other three. Dangal has already been made tax-free in Haryana.

‘Dangal’, based on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trained his daughters to become champions in the sport, released on December 23 last year, and has gone on to become Bollywood’s highest grosser. Dangal box office collections are not yet showing any signs of slowing down yet.
