Café Coffee Day owner VG Siddhartha dead, body found in Netravati River

Café Coffee Day owner VG Siddhartha was missing and a massive search operation was conducted for almost 36 hours and his body was finally recovered from the Nethravathi River in Mangaluru.

The body was found on early Wednesday and was confirmed by the Mangaluru city police. Mangaluru Police Commissioner (city) Sandeep Patil said, “The body was found floating near Hoige Bazar at around 6.30am. The next process will go as per law and family members have been informed.”

Siddharth’s body is being shifted to Wenlock Hospital for post-mortem to be done. His last rites will be performed in Chikkamagaluru.

A letter typed by him was doing rounds in the social media that he was being harassed by the IT officers.
