Bus crash in northern China kills 36 and injures 13

At least 36 passengers travelling in a bus were killed and 13 injured when it slammed into a tunnel wall on the expressway in northern China.

The bus accident in China took place in Shaanxi province on Thursday night. The bus was heading to central city of Luoyang from Chengdu in southwest Sichuan province.

The injured passengers were rushed to the hospital. The bus crash in China is an another tragic incident in Sichuan province as almost 20 persons were killed and hundreds were injured when that area was hit by an earthquake just two days back with a magnitude of 7.

Accidents are very common in China as the traffic regulations are violated and the police do not enforce them. Also the buses are usually overcrowded and also they travel to long distance which is the reason behind many fatalities.
