At least seven people including UK tourists injured in Paris knife attack

At least seven people including two UK tourists were severely injured when they were attacked by a man armed with knife and an iron bar on Sunday in Paris.

The attacker is believed to be an Afghan national and is arrest in Paris knife attack incident. He targeted strangers in the street and did not show any signs on terrorism.

Four of them are in critical condition in Paris knife attack which took place after 11:00 PM local time on the banks of a canal in the northeast of the capital.

A security guard at one of the two cinemas on either side of the Bassin de la Villette, part of the Canal de I’Ourcq said that he saw a man who already attacked people, was being chased by other men who tried to stop him.

The attacker threw the iron rod at the men who chased him and took out a knife. Around 20 people were chasing him and also threw Petanque balls at him, but could not stop him.

He then went and attacked two British tourists. Police investigation has been launched for murder attempt.
