Air Canada has launched the first ever non-stop flights from Vancouver to India with the slogan – “Ab Delhi Door Nahin!” as part of its ongoing international expansion in 2016.
Canada’s largest domestic and international airline’s inaugural flight AC72 has already landed in Delhi on its maiden trip.
AC72 happens to be the only non-stop flight as of now that links Vancouver and India.
The Vancouver-Delhi flights are operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. These flights feature Air Canada’s three-cabin service comprising 30 international business class individual lie-flat suites along with 21 premium economy seats and also 247 economy class seats.
Currently Air Canada is operating two flights A72 and A73 for this non-stop service between Vancouver and Delhi.
The A72 Air Canada flight operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from Vancouver to Delhi.
On the other hand, the A73 Air Canada flight operates from Delhi to Vancouver on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The flight dates and schedule are subject to change with Air Canada having the best information about the Vancouver-Delhi and Delhi-Vancouver flights.
Passengers in the Air Canada Vancouver-Delhi and vice-versa flights get to enjoy the in-flight entertainment on an enhanced seatback.
Recently Air Canada had launched several other new international services that include Vancouver-Brisbane, Vancouver-Dublin, Toronto-Seoul, Toronto-London Gatwick, Toronto-Glasgow, Toronto-Prague, Toronto-Warsaw, Toronto-Budapest, Montreal-Lyon and Montreal-Casablanca.
Coming to the Indian perspective, Air Canada had last year introduced an international service between Toronto and Delhi while it plans to add a new international flight service connecting Toronto and Mumbai in 2017.
