Actor Prakash Raj files his nomination to Lok Sabha elections as Independent

South Indian popular actor Prakash Raj filed his nomination to contest in Lok Sabha elections as an Independent from Bangalore Central constituency on Friday.

Prakash Raj aged 53 years is a popular actor in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi films and hails from Bengaluru.

While speaking to media after filing nomination Prakash Raj said: “National parties like BJP and Congress have failed the people. I would like to be the voice of the people”.

He will be contesting against BJP’s MP PC Mohan, who too filed his nomination from Bangalore Central seat on Friday.

The Congress is yet to announce its candidate from the constituency. Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party announced its support to the actor.
